This class requires no prior woodworking experience and welcomes anyone interested in learning the basics of woodturning to make a turned wooden pen. Students will have lecture, demonstration, and shop time under the supervision of an experienced craftsman and teaching assistants. Students will learn how to safely operate the bandsaw, drill press and wood lathe to make their own custom turned wooden pen.
